Looking for assistance and volunteers for a number of projects:

A disabled retired member, Joe Shagalski, has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and can’t be discharged from the hospital if there isn’t a ramp to give him access in and out of his house.  Our goal is to help raise some money for materials and have a crew of retired members help build the ramp.

This fall the Capital District Building Trades and public unions will once again hold the Labor Day Parade.  The float hasn’t been used in a number of years and needs some work to spruce it

up so it’s ready to roll in September.

Anything you can do to help us meet these goals will be greatly appreciated.
